I’m honestly not sure if backyard chickens can be microchipped, but all these stories have happy endings.

Picture it: May, 2025. I rescued a chicken and a Shiba Inu both in the same week. The Shiba was chipped, and when I called Foothills back the next day, they told me his owners came within an hour of me dropping him off to pick him up. Click the video below to learn about the chicken.
