Earlier this year, we introduced you to the 12 dogs who will grace the 2026 Dogs with Soul Fundraising Calendar, with the goal to gather $10,000 for Soul Dog Rescue - and at the time of this blog posting, we’re just thiiiiiiiiis close!

Thus far - today Sept 7, 2025 - we’ve raised $9,096! That’s less than a grand away from our goal! All we need to do now, is sell about 70 calendars! (The actual math says we need to sell 66.6666666666 etc, so I’m just rounding to the nearest whole number.)

Moose

Still revealing new sides of himself every day, Gus is the kind of dog who keeps you smiling - and keeps you guessing. One thing’s for sure: he’s impossible to overlook.

Chaco

Chaco is a mix of Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Cattle Dog, Chow, and Staffordshire Terrier - but more than anything, he’s pure heart. Rescued in New Mexico as a pup, Chaco has a presence that’s hard to explain but impossible to miss. There’s a quiet depth in his eyes and a calm strength in his spirit. Loyal, patient, and deeply intuitive, Chaco seems to exist to remind the world what unconditional love truly looks like. His bond with those who know him best runs deep - he’s more than a companion; he’s a teacher in trust and presence.

Atticus

Meet Atticus, a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his smile. Avocado

Avocado is a 1-year-old trail-loving pup with boundless energy, a sweet nature, and a striking profile that practically begs for a windswept portrait. He’s a natural on the hiking trail - full of enthusiasm, with a real flair for posing at the summit. Beyond the adventure, he’s deeply devoted to his people: attentive to his 8-year-old human, cuddly with his dad, and never far from the ones he loves most. Yogos

Meet Yogos, a 6-month-old French Bulldog who lives life with full-on puppy joy! With big ears and an even bigger heart, she’s always eager to please and even more eager to snuggle. Whether she’s bouncing through the day or curling up in your lap like a pro, Yogos brings comfort, smiles, and a whole lot of love to her family without even trying. Kiki

Kiki is a 4-year-old Golden Mountain Doodle with endless energy and an even bigger heart. As a volunteer therapy dog, she shares her gentle presence with patients at Denver Springs Behavioral Health Hospital and travelers at Denver International Airport as part of the CATS team. Adventurous, joyful, and deeply intuitive, Kiki has a remarkable ability to sense who needs her most - and when she does, her energy softens into calm, quiet connection. She brightens rooms, eases hearts, and brings love wherever she goes.

Jade

Jade is a 10-year-old mix - a beautiful blend of cattle dog, shepherd, lab, pittie, husky, and pure charm. With one golden-green eye (hence her name) and a smile that lights up the room, she’s full of personality and presence. Jade is known for her spunky spirit, dramatic flops for belly rubs, and surprisingly graceful hugs. She’s affectionate on her terms, fiercely independent, and never fails to keep her people laughing. Her fluffy red and brown coat, expressive eyes, and confident energy make her impossible to forget.

Denna

Denna is a 4-year-old Blue Merle Australian Cattle Dog with a huge heart and even bigger feelings. She’s equal parts goofball and cuddlebug - always ready to play, but just as content to snuggle. While she’s not a fan of most dogs, she adores her cat siblings and has made impressive strides in learning to navigate the world with more ease. With her expressive face and loyal spirit, Denna is a one-of-a-kind companion with a whole lot of character.

Camber

Camber is a 4-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a gentle soul and an adventurous spirit. From cross-country road trips to a month exploring Alaska, she’s proven to be the kind of companion who’s always up for the journey, and always full of love. Sweet-natured, loyal, and endlessly kind, Camber brings calm, connection, and quiet joy wherever she goes. She’s not just a travel buddy - she’s a heart dog in every sense.

Poppy

Poppy is a 5-ish-year-old original - part basset hound, part cattle dog, part mystery, and 100% lovable! With her low-rider frame, one ear that always stays down, and a tongue that just can’t stay in her mouth, she’s a walking conversation starter. Whether sunbathing, sprinting, or making new best friends (humans and dogs alike), Poppy brings bouyant energy everywhere she goes. Her favorite things? Butt scratches, playdates, and showing off that signature strut.

Remy!

Meet Remy, a 2.5-year-old miracle with a spirit stitched from 18 breeds and maybe a little stardust. She’s lived through more in her short life than most do in a lifetime: hit by a car, passed between homes, and yet still found the joy to wag her way into ours. With her signature pink wheelchair, Remy doesn’t just defy odds - she obliterates them. Remy didn’t just join our family - she healed it. Fierce, brilliant, joyful beyond measure… she’s our soul dog, through and through.
