I’m obsessed with my pets, too! In fact, check out the lower right corner of the photo, there’s my boy Furdinand Magellan hanging out in the studio with me, photobombing my headshots.
I get pet-people. I get the lingo, and the cat fur as an accidental accessory. I get that dogs won’t listen - no matter how much you practiced your sits and stays - when in the presence of a new person to impress. I get that cat personalities can vary wildly between wanting all the attention and wanting to hide, and I get that the occasional dog will pee in the studio.
I knew what I was getting into when I chose pet photography.

Custom Sessions
Each pet is unique, so we customize each session based on the animal and family.
Indoors
for the pet who has a chauffeur, or would choose to not leave the house at all.
Outdoors
for the pet who would drive a Jeep if they could.
Only buy what you LOVE!
If you are not positively in love with your photos, we will prioritize a reshoot or refund your initial deposit.

The Process
is easy
Step 1 - The PLAN
You can easily choose your session date, time, and style, here. Whether you book online or not, we’ll have a quick chat about your pet to make sure we use an approach and location that suits them. With the end result in mind, we’ll help you imagine your photos on their future “wall of happiness”.
Step 2 - The PHOTOS
Patience and love go a long way! We photograph your pet in their natural state - this means no stiff poses, no performance pressure. A happy pet is a photogenic pet!
Step 3 - The ARTWORK
In the comfort of the studio, we help you design a custom, museum-worthy display for your home, applying equal parts aesthetics, physics, and “does this spark joy every time I see it?”
Investment
Because every pet is wildly, irrationally themselves, every Portrait Experience is, too. Your total investment depends on which images you fall helplessly in love with and how you decide they should live in your life. Some people choose a few heroic wall pieces. Others want to scoop up every photo, whisper “you’re coming with me,” and refuse to leave anything behind. We support both instincts wholeheartedly.
